Friday, Mar. 6th – World Day of Prayer

Service at 1:30 pm at Beaconsfield United Church, 202 Woodside Rd., Beaconsfield. Prepared by the women of Zimbabwe, the theme is “Rise, take up your mat and walk”. All are welcome!

Saturday, Mar. 7th – Ladies’ Breakfast

9 am at Le Manoir (corner Hymus & St-Jean). Friends are welcome.

Sunday, Mar. 8th – Lent II

Daylight Savings starts.

Two worship services at Briarwood – our traditional service at 10:00 am and contemporary service at 11:30 am, with kids’ faith program and nursery space at both. The scriptures are Ecclesiastes 3:12-13; Psalm 34:1-14; Mark 10:32-52. Communion at the 11:30 service.

At 7:30 pm on Sunday, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Canada will be at St. Columba-by-the-Lake Presbyterian Church, 11 Rodney, Pte-Claire (Vincennes entrance). Rev. Amanda Currie will speak about her visits to churches across the country, indigenous issues, ecumenism and the response to remits on human sexuality. A question and answer period will follow. All are welcome.
