Rev. Bah Geoffrey Banla is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon. He was received as minister into the Presbyterian Church in Canada in November 2024. He brings 27 years of pastoral ministry experience, serving faithfully in parish ministry, youth work, school chaplaincy and Presbytery administration. His calling has been shaped by deep commitment to pastoral care, preaching, teaching and church administration. A strong emphasis on practical theology that nurtures faith and discipleship in everyday life.

Rev. Bah Geoffrey Banla holds a Master’s Degree in Theology- specialising in practical theology with a particular focus on Christian Counselling. He has completed required courses in Presbyterian Church in Canada History and Church Polity at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Vancouver- Canada.

 

Rev. Bah Geoffrey Banla values shared ministry and believes deeply in walking together as God’s people, listening attentively to one another, serving Christ with humility and love.

He has a keen appreciation for diversity and intercultural ministry and approaches pastoral leadership with openness, compassion and a desire to learn alongside the congregation he serves.

 

Rev. Bah Geoffrey Banla is married to Mercy, a nurse and nutritionist by profession. They are blessed with four children and one grandchild. While in Canada, they are accompanied by their youngest child Peris, who is currently a student at Cegep La Pocatière- Quebec.
