Potluck meal starting at 6:30 pm, followed by Celtic ‘plus’ music, provided by Marian Siminski and singers from Lakeshore Light Opera. Freewill donation to aid Briarwood’s general fund. Sunday, January 29th: Two worship services at Briarwood -- our traditional service at 10:00 am and our contemporary service at 11:30 am, with children's faith program and nursery at both. Rev. Sarina Meyer is preaching a series of sermons on “Praying without Ceasing”. This week’s scriptures are Genesis 24:1-27, Psalm 10 and Matthew 7:7-11 - intercession, petition and spontaneous prayer.
