This Week @Briarwood

Sunday, Dec. 4th – Advent II (Peace): Two worship services at Briarwood - traditional service at 10:00 am, and contemporary service at 11:30 am, with children's faith program and nursery space at both. We welcome back The Rev. J.S.S. Armour to the pulpit. The scriptures are 1 Samuel 4: 12-22; Luke 1: 68-79 and Matthew 1: 18-25 – “Name this Child”. There will be Carol-singing before the 10:00 service, starting at 9:50 am. Pageant practice will be held during the children’s faith program. This is Muffin Sunday for those who bake muffins to donate to Chez Doris.

Senior Youth Group: Friday, Dec. 2nd at 7 pm at the church. This week: Obstacle Course & Follow

Ladies’ Breakfast: Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 9 am at Ben & Florentine, 3555 St-Charles Blvd. Bring a friend!

Christmas Baskets: Briarwood will distribute Christmas baskets again this year, and donations are requested. Our target is $2,000. This Sunday is the last day to contribute.
